Hello! My name is Jyoshitaa, and this is my first time starting a blog. I live in Canada with my parents and my little sister. I am fluent in both Tamil (my mother tongue) and English.
My Hobbies
My main hobby (for now) is reading. A book, a blanket, and snacks are my favourite way to spend an afternoon. My favourite genres are mystery, thriller, suspense, and action/adventurous. I like a mixture of my favourite with some humour mixed in as well. I love reading so much because novels are my escape from reality. Books are a way for you to travel all around the world, to read about others’ experiences, and learn new things. Some other hobbies of mine include swimming, doodling, and making origami.
My Blog
My dad first introduced me to the idea of starting my own blog and convinced me to try it out. There are many reasons for why I created this blog. I created this blog mainly to express my ideas, thoughts, and my creative side. I will be posting my favourite books, book recommendations, and book reviews on here for any book lovers out there. I recently started translating stories in Tamil to English and realized that I enjoy doing so. I want to share my translations with people who don’t speak Tamil, so that they can appreciate the beauty of these stories. I also created this blog to showcase my culture. I want to share my experience and knowledge as well.
